The Gift of a Smile
Teresa is one of our special people that starting attending The Current when we were still under the bridge. She is faithful to the Lord and he is faithful to her. Several months back someone from Butterfield the mother church of The Current approached me and said the Lord had laid on her heart to buy Teresa a smile. Teresa had to have all of teeth pulled over ten years ago and never was able to purchase dentures. It is one of the greatest gifts I have ever seen given and every time she smiles it lights up the room!!
The Current - Revival Time
August 2007 we held our second revival at The Current. Lauralise Hodges spoke on Thursday, Kelly Ward from the Inner City church in Little Rock spoke on Friday, and Pastor Kevin Don spoke to a crowd of over 200 on Saturday night. The Lord did amazing things and we look forward to seeing the seeds that were planted grow in the coming monnths. I will keep you posted on the great things the Lord is doing!
